Responsibilities
As a Human Resource Generalist, you will be responsible for
- Developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Managing the recruitment and selection process to ensure the attraction and retention of top talent.
- Overseeing and managing a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Assessing training needs, and monitoring training programs to ensure staff are equipped with the necessary skills to perform their roles effectively.
- Providing support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Promoting HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
- Ensuring legal compliance throughout human resource management.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
- Nurture a positive working environment.
To be successful in this role, you will need
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist, preferably within the home building or related industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Proven experience with HR metrics and Human Resource Information Systems.
- Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
