We are on the lookout for a dynamic, detail-oriented, and dedicated Family Law Litigation Associate to join our esteemed legal team. This is a permanent position that requires a passion for family law and an unwavering commitment to represent and advocate for our clients in a variety of challenging family law cases. The ideal candidate will have experience OR an interest in getting into family law litigation . This role offers an exceptional opportunity to work in a supportive environment while dealing with complex and rewarding family law cases.

We are on the lookout for a dynamic, detail-oriented, and dedicated Family Law Litigation Associate to join our esteemed legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience OR an interest in getting into family law litigation . This role offers an exceptional opportunity to work in a supportive environment while dealing with complex and rewarding family law cases.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in court proceedings related to divorce, child custody, child support, visitation rights, and other family law matters.
- Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, motions, and agreements.
- Conduct thorough case analysis and develop effective litigation strategies.
- Negotiate settlements in a timely manner to resolve disputes efficiently.
- Attend hearings and trials, presenting arguments and evidence as necessary.
- Conduct and coordinate discovery, including depositions, interrogatories, and document production.
- Provide compassionate and effective counsel to clients during challenging times.
- Stay updated on current laws and regulations related to family law.
- Collaborate with legal staff and partners to ensure a seamless service delivery.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Experience in litigation.
- Active member of the Alabama (AL) state bar in good standing.
- Proven track record in handling child support cases and conducting hearings.
- Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to resolve cases favorably.
- Strong research and analytical skills to handle complex legal issues.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in using legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines.
- Empathy and the ability to understand clients' needs during difficult times.
