We are seeking a talented and passionate Emergency Room Veterinarian to join our dynamic healthcare team. This permanent position offers a unique opportunity to practice high-quality emergency medicine on a variety of animal patients. As an ER Veterinarian, you will be a part of a collaborative team dedicated to providing the highest level of care to our patients. This position requires a commitment to an exceptional level of patient care and client service, an ability to make quick and accurate decisions, and a capacity to handle the fast-paced and high-stress environment of an emergency room. You will be working alongside a team of highly skilled and experienced veterinary professionals, all dedicated to providing the best possible care for our patients.

Responsibilities:
As an Emergency Room Veterinarian, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Providing immediate care to emergency patients, including initial examination, diagnostic testing, and treatment.
- Performing emergency surgeries as necessary.
- Collaborating with other veterinary professionals to ensure the highest quality of care.
- Communicating effectively with pet owners about the condition of their pets, the treatment options available, and the potential outcomes.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient care.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in veterinary medicine and emergency care.
- Providing compassionate care to all patients and their owners.
- Participating in continuing education programs to enhance your professional skills and knowledge.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing veterinarian, with significant experience in emergency medicine.
- Board certification in Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) or completion of a residency in ECC is highly desirable.
- A current license to practice veterinary medicine.
- Excellent surgical skills, with experience in emergency surgery.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex medical conditions and treatments to pet owners.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work well under pressure.
- A compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
