Job Details

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of all cases assigned to the docket.
• Make determinations on case eligibility, filing decisions, and other appropriate case dispositions.
• Review and approve complaints, short-form pleadings, census forms, fact sheets, plaintiff disclosure requirements, and other court-mandated filings prior to submission and/or filing.
• Directly manage and supervise the docket’s Case Managers and Paralegals.
• Lead structured case-review meetings; track team performance; ensure timely follow-up on outstanding tasks and client needs.
• Serve as the point-of-contact for attorney-involved client communications.
• Approve case filings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with MDL or court-specific requirements.
• Oversee adherence to deadlines for filings, disclosures, and discovery.
• Communicate and coordinate with other law firms regarding client information and management.
• Stay updated on MDL developments, court orders, census requirements, and other docket-specific updates.
  
  

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admission to at least one U.S. jurisdiction; California preferred.
• 3 years of experience in mass torts, personal injury, or complex litigation.
• Demonstrated experience managing a high-volume docket or large portfolio of cases.
