Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Growth & Market Expansion
- Develop and execute business development strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing ones.
- Identify and pursue opportunities in commercial and residential projects exceeding $5M.
- Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain relationships with developers, property owners, HOAs, and institutional investors.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Project & Financial Oversight
- Collaborate with internal teams on feasibility studies, underwriting, and proforma analysis.
- Oversee negotiations for contracts, RFPs, and partnership agreements.
- Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner with marketing, operations, and estimating teams to align business objectives with delivery capabilities.
- Lead presentations and proposals for high-value projects.
- Performance Monitoring
- Track KPIs for revenue growth, pipeline development, and client retention.
- Report progress to senior leadership and recommend adjustments to strategy as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 5–10 years in business development within construction, real estate development, or related industries.
- Demonstrated success managing commercial and residential projects valued at $5M .
- Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and financial modeling tools.
- Deep understanding of zoning, permitting, and entitlement processes.
- Existing network within commercial and residential development sectors is preferred.
- Experience with multifamily housing, mixed-use developments, and large-scale commercial projects is preferred.
