This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in data entry or related field.
Responsibilities:
As a Consulting Data Entry Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining sensitive healthcare data in various databases including OncoEMR.
2. Conducting thorough research to gather and validate data.
3. Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting.
4. Collaborating with healthcare professionals and consultants to understand and meet data requirements.
5. Identifying and resolving inconsistencies in data and working to enhance data quality.
6. Assisting in the development and implementation of data management policies and procedures.
7. Ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection guidelines.
8. Providing technical assistance related to data entry and retrieval procedures to staff and consultants.
9. Conducting regular data audits to ensure accuracy and integrity.
10. Participating in special projects and performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this role, candidates must possess the following:
1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in data entry, preferably in the healthcare industry.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with OncoEMR or similar Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software.
3. Exceptional typing skills with an emphasis on accuracy and speed.
4. Strong research skills and the ability to gather and validate data from various sources.
5. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
6. Understanding of data privacy laws and regulations in the healthcare industry.
