Job Details
Handle business transactions mergers & acquisitions, private offerings, capital restructuring.
Review and draft contracts, corporate documents, organizational agreements, deal documentation.
Serve as first- or second-chair on deals, from negotiation through closing.
Juggle multiple matters, manage deadlines and client expectations with responsiveness and attention to detail.
Maintain strong client service instincts—attorney must engage proactively with clients and teams.
Admission to Michigan bar required (or willingness to become admitted).
5-12 years of law-firm experience in corporate transactional work is preferred.
Experience in general corporate work M&A required; clients expect solid transaction exposure and drafting/negotiating capability.
Ideal candidate has track record of significant deal work, strong academics, a sense of drive to build their practice and work collaboratively within a team.
