The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures. This position requires a high level of competency in Monthly Reporting, ERP Implementation, Financials, Fixed Assets, Financial Statements, Annual Budget, Cash Flow, GL, Reconcile, Year-End Close, and other related skills.

Responsibilities
- Oversee all company accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports, tax and audit functions.
- Direct financial strategy, planning, and forecasts; conferring with CEO, CFO, and executive management, studying long-range economic trends and projecting their impact on future growth and financial objectives.
- Oversee the ERP implementation, ensuring that the system is used to its fullest potential.
- Manage the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results.
- Coordinate and prepare internal and external financial statements.
- Coordinate activities of external auditors, ensuring all audit issues are resolved, and all compliance issues are met, and the preparation of the annual financial statements is in accordance with U.S. GAAP and federal, state and other required supplementary schedules and information.
- Provide management with useful financial information.
- Implement and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
- Manage the cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts.
- Review monthly results and implement monthly variance reporting.
- Manage the year-end close process, ensuring the timely completion of the audit.
- Oversee the bookkeeping function including maintenance of the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (MBA preferred).
- Professional accreditation such as certified public accountant (CPA) or certified management accountant (CMA).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position.
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems. Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
- Solid experience coordinating audit activities and managing reporting, budget development and analysis, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll, and accounting for investments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and with computerized ledger systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work with employees at all levels in the organization.
- Strong problem-solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis, and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks with high level of difficulty.
