Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the CFO and Owner on strategic financial matters, providing insightful information and expectations to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.
- Prepare and present monthly financial statements to stakeholders, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports, and forecasts.
- Manage financial operations across entities, ensuring smooth and efficient financial procedures are in place and adhered to.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, providing the company with the necessary financial insights for effective strategic planning.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and oversee audit processes, ensuring all financial operations adhere to state and federal laws.
- Supervise all finance personnel.
- Manage vendor relationships and build effective partnerships.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Ensure all financial operations are in line with company objectives and regulatory bodies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Experience in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position with evidence of increasing responsibility.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting and financial principles and practices.
- Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and cost control principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations.
- Pays strict attention to detail.
- Ability to direct and supervise.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
- Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting a strategic vision into an operational model.
