Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, test, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam to drive efficiency and productivity within the manufacturing process.
2. Interpret and read blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to ensure accurate programming.
3. Operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc. and ensure the machines are set up properly.
4. Utilize CAD software to design and visualize the end products and adjust the machine settings accordingly.
5. Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards using precision tools.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and programs.
7. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
8. Collaborate with engineers and machinists to ensure the product meets quality standards and to discuss potential improvements in programming and machining.
9. Conduct regular maintenance and repair of CNC machines.
10. Keep detailed records of each task for future reference and for quality assurance purposes.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Programmer in the manufacturing industry.
2. Extensive knowledge and experience with Mastercam, CAD software, and CNC machine operation.
3. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
4. Excellent skills in precision measurement and quality control.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues.
6. Excellent understanding of the mechanics of the CNC machine and the different tools used in the process.
