We are seeking a dynamic and experienced CNC Programmer to join our fast-paced engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and optimizing CNC programs using CAD/CAM software, interpreting technical drawings, and selecting appropriate tooling. This role requires a deep understanding of material handling and the ability to work with precision and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work on time. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to our company's success.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM software.
2. Interpret and work from technical drawings and blueprints to produce parts.
3. Select and set up the appropriate tools required for each job.
4. Oversee material handling, ensuring materials are prepared and available as needed.
5. Collaborate with the engineering team to improve production processes and reduce machining time.
6. Ensure all CNC machines operate in accordance with the set plans and parameters.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the production process.
8. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
9. Provide technical support and training to machine operators as needed.
10. Continuously evaluate and suggest improvements to optimize productivity and quality.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in CNC programming in the engineering industry.
2. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software.
3. Extensive knowledge of tooling and material handling.
4. Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings and blueprints.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues.
6. Excellent attention to detail and precision.
7. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
8. A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
9. Familiarity with industry safety standards and protocols.
10. A commitment to continuous learning and development in the field.
