We are seeking a dynamic and experienced CNC Programmer to join our team. You will be responsible for creating and improving CNC programs, working closely with our production team to maximize productivity and efficiency, and assisting in the quoting process. If you have a passion for precision, an eye for detail, and a knack for problem-solving, this role could be the perfect fit for you.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and create CNC programs for various types of machinery using CAD/CAM software.
2. Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate programming and product manufacturing.
3. Conduct machine setup and trial runs to validate programs and ensure they meet design specifications.
4. Work closely with the production team to ensure smooth operation and maximum efficiency.
5. Maintain accurate records of programs and revisions.
6. Provide technical support and training to machine operators and other staff.
7. Continually evaluate and optimize CNC programs to increase productivity and quality.
8. Participate in project quoting, estimating time, materials, and labor costs.
9. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
10. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technology, and best practices.
Qualifications:
1. 5 years of experience as a CNC Programmer in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proficient in CAD/CAM software, G-code, and M-code.
3. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
4. Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials.
5. Proven experience in project quoting and cost estimation.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
9. Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
10. High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in a relevant field or a CNC programming certification is a plus.
