Job Details
We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Machinist to join our manufacturing team in Chicago, IL. This role involves CNC Programming, Machine Setup, and Precision Machining using CNC Mills, Lathes, and Multi-Axis Equipment
Responsibilities:
- Program, Set Up, and Operate CNC Mills, Lathes, and Machining Centers
- Perform 3-Axis, 4-Axis, and Multi-Axis Machining
- Develop, Edit, and Troubleshoot CNC Programs
- Read Blueprints, Engineering Drawings, and GD&T Specifications
- Select Tooling, Speeds, Feeds, and Cutting Parameters
- Inspect Finished Parts and Maintain Tight Tolerances
Must Have:
- 3 Years of CNC Programming or Machining Experience
- CNC Milling, Turning, or Lathe Experience
- CNC Machine Setup and Operation
- G-Code and M-Code Knowledge
- Blueprint Reading and Precision Measurement
- Strong Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
Nice to Have:
- 4-Axis or 5-Axis CNC Machining
- Mastercam or Similar CAD/CAM Software
- Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, or Siemens Controls
- CNC Mill-Turn or Swiss-Type Machining
- Experience with Precision or Custom Manufacturing
