Job Details
Responsibilities
- Undertake design and modeling tasks using Civil 3D software and other relevant engineering tools.
- Develop and implement erosion control measures to protect the environment and comply with regulations.
- Conduct grading activities to prepare sites for construction in accordance with project specifications.
- Lead site development projects, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Collaborate with geotechnical and environmental engineers to address soil and environmental concerns in project design and execution.
- Manage land development projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
- Design and implement shoring systems for excavation and construction projects.
- Prepare and submit necessary documents for the Engineering-in-Training (EIT) certification process.
- Develop and maintain sewer systems, ensuring they meet all regulatory requirements.
- Handle permitting processes, including application, follow-up, and compliance with all conditions.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that all work is carried out according to plans and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land development.
- Proficient in Civil 3D and other relevant engineering software.
- Solid understanding of erosion control measures and grading techniques.
- Experience in site development, including planning, design, and execution.
- Knowledge of geotechnical and environmental engineering principles.
- Proven experience in land development projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
- Familiarity with shoring design and implementation.
- EIT certification or the ability to obtain the certification within a specified time frame.
