Position Purpose
The Chief Operating Officer owns day-to-day business execution, ensuring strategy becomes reality through disciplined systems, processes, metrics, and accountability across all markets and service lines.
If the CEO drives vision, growth, and external relationships, the COO ensures the organization runs effectively, scales predictably, and performs consistently.

Position Purpose

Key Responsibilities
- Operational & Financial Performance
- Own revenue performance, margins, EBITDA, and cash flow
- Establish and manage weekly/monthly KPI cadences
- Remove execution barriers and enforce accountability across teams
- Scalable Operating Infrastructure
- Build and standardize SOPs, workflows, staffing models, and capacity planning
- Implement dashboards, operating rhythms, and performance reviews
- Scale clinical operations, scheduling, intake, revenue cycle, and compliance systems
- Clinical Quality & Compliance
- Ensure standardized clinical workflows and documentation practices
- Maintain CMS, payer, and regulatory compliance across states
- Drive audit readiness and defensible operational processes
- Translate risk-based and value-based contracts into operational execution
- Improve medical loss ratios, documentation integrity, and financial performance
- Technology-Enabled Growth
- Optimize EMR, routing, logistics, and RCM platforms
- Leverage technology to reduce friction, increase efficiency, and protect margins
- Executive Partnership
- Serve as a strategic execution partner to the CEO and Board
- Lead operational reporting and performance transparency
- Support growth initiatives, partnerships, capital activity, and M&A integration
- Stabilize operations during periods of rapid growth or disruption
- Lead corrective action plans and build resilient operating systems
