Our organization is looking for a dynamic and experienced Audit Senior to join our Finance team. Responsibilities
The Audit Senior will be responsible for
- Leading, planning, and executing a variety of financial statement audits in accordance with GAAP.
- Evaluating internal control systems and suggesting improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
- Preparing and presenting audit findings to senior management, highlighting areas of risk and proposing practical solutions.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Keeping abreast of latest developments in auditing standards and financial regulations.
- Providing guidance and mentorship to junior audit staff, fostering a supportive and challenging work environment.
- Assisting in the creation of annual audit plans and risk assessments.
- Managing relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (such as CPA, CIA, or CISA) is highly desirable.
- A minimum of three years' experience in a senior audit role, preferably within the finance industry.
- Extensive knowledge of GAAP and other relevant financial regulations.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify potential risks.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Proficiency in using audit software and other financial systems.
- A proven track record of managing and completing projects on time and within budget.
- A high level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of ethics and confidentiality.
