Responsibilities
As a Permanent Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for
- Handling all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and trial execution.
- Managing a diverse caseload of moderate to high complexity litigation matters.
- Collaborating with senior attorneys to devise litigation strategies and develop case theories.
- Researching and analyzing intricate legal issues and writing analytical memos for the team.
- Representing clients in court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Providing timely updates to clients and maintaining a high level of client service.
- Participating in business development efforts, including networking events and client meetings.
To be considered for the Permanent Associate Attorney position, you must meet the following qualifications
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 2 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting. Warranty Defense or Lemon Law Experience a plus- Knowledge of automobiles a plus
- Active membership in good standing with the State Bar.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proven track record of representing clients in court and achieving favorable results.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to think quickly and make sound decisions.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
