Our Client, a Commercial contractor of interior systems, is seeking an Assistant Controller

While this position will initially operate as a Senior Individual Contributor, the expectations is that this candidate will ultimately assume supervisory responsibilities and oversee accounting staff as the company continues to grow

While this position will initially operate as a Senior Individual Contributor, the expectations is that this candidate will ultimately assume supervisory responsibilities and oversee accounting staff as the company continues to grow
Requirements for the role:
- Strong construction accounting experience required
- Prior experience managing, supervising, or leading accounting staff is required, even though the role will not initially have direct reports.
- Experience with month-end close, financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, WIP schedules, overbillings/underbillings, and construction ERP systems.
- Candidates should demonstrate leadership potential, strong organizational skills, and the ability to operate independently while collaborating across departments.
- Committed to working fully on site in Orlando, FL
- Compensation: $120-$140K 10% annual bonus
