Key Responsibilities
- Process high-volume vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and adherence to company policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly and professionally.
- Maintain vendor records, including setup and updates in the AP system.
- Prepare and process electronic payments (ACH, wire transfers) and check runs.
- Assist with month-end close by preparing AP-related journal entries and reconciliations.
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding items to maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with procurement and other departments to resolve invoice and payment issues.
- Support audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Education Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Experience 2 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience.
- Proficiency in AP systems and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is strongly preferred.
- Experience working in manufacturing is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
