Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk with a minimum of two years of experience to join a fast-paced and collaborative team. This role is ideal for a professional who takes pride in accuracy, demonstrates strong data entry skills, and maintains a high level of organization and accountability in their work.
Key Responsibilities:
Process high volumes of vendor invoices with accuracy and timeliness
Perform data entry and coding of invoices into the accounting system
Match purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documentation
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable records and documentation
Communicate professionally with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding payment status and inquiries
Assist with check runs, ACH payments, and month-end closing activities
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Accounting or a related field required
Minimum of two years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Dependable, professional, and able to meet deadlines consistently
Good organizational and time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
