Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable activities including invoice processing, 3-way match, payment processing, and vendor communication.
- Analyze and reconcile accounts payable ledgers, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Participate in the month-end closing process, including the preparation and posting of journal entries.
- Collaborate with procurement and other departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Maintain vendor relationships and manage vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Participate in the implementation of new processes and systems to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of accounts payable operations.
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or related role, preferably within the technology or manufacturing industry.
- Solid understanding of general ledger (GL) functions and accounts payable procedures.
- Proficient in manufacturing accounting and 3-way match process.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts, and corporate procedures.
- Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet and professional manner.
