We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Surveillance/CCTV/Security Installation Technician to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about the Tech Services industry and has a strong desire to ensure the safety and security of our clients. As a Consulting Surveillance/CCTV/Security Installation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting high-end surveillance systems, CCTV, and other security equipment. This role requires an individual with a deep understanding of technology, networking, and communication systems.

As a Consulting Surveillance/CCTV/Security Installation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting high-end surveillance systems, CCTV, and other security equipment. This role requires an individual with a deep understanding of technology, networking, and communication systems.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV, access control, and other security systems.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting services for all security systems.
- Conduct site surveys to determine the optimal placement of security equipment.
- Work closely with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Train clients on the proper use and maintenance of their security systems.
- Prepare detailed reports on installation activities and any identified security risks.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in surveillance and security technology.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop cost estimates for clients.
- Ensure all installations are completed on time and within the agreed budget.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines during installation procedures.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Surveillance/CCTV/Security Installation Technician or a similar role in the Tech Services industry.
- Proven experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CCTV and other security systems.
- Excellent knowledge of computer systems, networking, and communication systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical clients.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to client sites as needed.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy equipment.
- A professional certification in network security or a related field would be an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
