We are seeking a dynamic and seasoned LAT Certified Heavy Equipment Operator to join our faculty team. This role is integral to our operations, requiring a professional with a strong background in heavy equipment operation and certification through NCCCO. This is a full-time position, running courses Monday to Thursday for ten hours a day with new classes every three weeks.

We are seeking a dynamic and seasoned LAT Certified Heavy Equipment Operator to join our faculty team. This role is integral to our operations, requiring a professional with a strong background in heavy equipment operation and certification through NCCCO. Responsibilities
- Teach adult learners how to safely operate heavy equipment and/or cranes.
- Understand and execute pre-existing course curriculum
- Measure student's ability to understand and apply coursework both in written and practical exams
- Record Student attendance
- Assess and record student progress using SAP
- Participate in professional development activities
- High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in a related field is preferred.
- LAT Certification in Heavy Equipment Operation.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a manufacturing setting.
- Proven ability to use rigor and signal skills to interpret and respond to complex operational situations.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety guidelines and regulations.
- Proven track record of reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to train and mentor junior team members.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Willingness to participate in continuous improvement initiatives and professional development opportunities.
