About the Position
We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Bilingual Youth and Family Support Partner to join our team at San Diego Youth Services. As a key member of our HERE Now program, you will be responsible for delivering trauma-informed school-based suicide prevention and early intervention services to vulnerable populations.
Main Duties
- Deliver presentations and workshops on the Signs of Suicide (SOS) program
- Conduct risk assessments and provide individualized support and resources to youth and families
- Cultivate partnerships with schools and community organizations to promote mental health awareness and access
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a trauma-informed service delivery model
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or a related field
- Minimum two years' experience working with youth, family, and community development
- Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Arabic required
