Job Summary:
The Director of Governance and Compliance oversees all aspects of the foundation's governance and compliance, ensuring that the organization operates in accordance with all relevant laws, regulations, and agreements.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive governance and compliance programs to ensure the foundation's adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and agreements.
- Provide strategic leadership on governance and compliance issues, including identifying and mitigating potential risks, and developing and implementing risk management strategies.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement policies and procedures that support the foundation's mission and goals.
- Oversee the development and implementation of compliance training programs to ensure that all staff members understand their roles and responsibilities in ensuring the foundation's compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and agreements.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in governance and compliance, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
