We are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at Profluent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing our data information platform.
This role requires expertise in full-stack web development, backend frameworks, and cloud computing. You will work closely with our experimental and computational biologists to ensure seamless integration, processing, and accessibility of our laboratory-derived datasets.
Responsibilities
- Develop user-facing applications to give scientists access to custom-built software.
- Design and develop automated cloud-based workflows to perform ETL of experimental data from various sources.
- Build scalable cloud pipelines for analysis of Illumina sequencing datasets (NGS).
- Develop intuitive and interactive data visualizations.
- Work closely with experimental and computational biologists to perform user-testing.
- Clearly document code and communicate outcomes to colleagues.
