\nThis role is responsible for ensuring end-to-end software quality across mobile banking applications built on the Backbase platform. You will design, execute, and maintain comprehensive testing strategies while working closely with cross-functional teams in agile delivery environments.
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and testing scenarios to validate application quality and functionality
- Perform functional, regression, UAT, performance, security, load, and accessibility testing across mobile applications
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for Android and iOS platforms
- Write and execute test automation using tools such as Appium, Espresso (Android), and XCTest (iOS)
- Collaborate with developers and product teams in Agile sprints using BDD and TDD methodologies
- Own the overall QA process and ensure quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle
- Identify, document, and track defects while ensuring timely resolution and validation
- Work directly with clients and stakeholders in a consultative, professional services environment
- Ensure Backbase-based applications meet strict performance, reliability, and security standards
Requirements
This role requires a senior QA automation professional with strong mobile testing expertise and hands-on experience in financial services environments, particularly digital banking solutions.
- 5 years of experience in software testing and QA automation for mobile applications (iOS and Android)
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience working with the Backbase platform
- Strong experience in test automation frameworks such as Appium, Espresso, and XCTest
- Proficiency in Java and Swift for test development and automation scripting
- Experience executing non-functional testing including performance, security, load, and accessibility testing
- Background in financial services, preferably with credit unions or digital banking platforms
- Experience working in consulting or professional services environments with direct client interaction
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies including BDD and TDD
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in distributed, cross-functional teams
