Corporate Counsel - Remote

• Review, draft and negotiate a wide array of complex commercial contracts, including vendor and service agreements.
• Advise internal stakeholders on contract terms, legal risks, and their practical implications.
• Lead negotiations and provide legal counsel on strategic partnerships and corporate investment transactions.
• Collaborate with product teams for legal guidance throughout the development lifecycle.
• Provide counsel on corporate governance, insurance matters, and compliance with regulations.
• Act as a trusted advisor to cross-functional teams, meeting their legal needs.
• Conduct legal research and assist in managing commercial disputes as needed.
• Support day-to-day legal operations and strategic initiatives.

• ABA accredited JD Degree and active state bar membership required.
• A minimum of five years of experience in contract drafting and negotiation.
• Ability to assess legal and business issues promptly and accurately.
• Familiarity with privacy laws and credit union regulations preferred.
• Experience handling contract disputes and familiarity with litigation processes preferred.
• Background in a corporate legal setting is a plus.
• Experience in technology or financial services sectors preferred.
