Residential Technician

Jobe Systems is seeking a Residential Audio / Video Technician for high-end custom integrated systems on the island of Nantucket. The technician's level will be discussed during the interview process.

Requirements:

• Minimum three or more years of experience as an Audio Video (AV) Installation Technician in a residential setting.
• Experience in rack fabrication, termination, and calibration of audio and video equipment and home automation systems
• Experience in Lutron Systems, Savant Automation, and Crestron Automation is a plus
• Ability to troubleshoot complex systems; attention to detail
• Self-motivated and results-oriented; strong customer service skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Excellent time management and ability to multitask effectively
• Full-time position, Monday – Friday, overtime required as business needs demand
• Must be able to travel as needed. A current passport will be required.

Jobe Systems is a Houston-based company with offices in Nantucket, Chicago, Vail/Aspen, West Palm Beach, and San Diego. We provide the design, installation, and implementation of advanced integrated building systems, including audio-visual (AV), network security, structured cabling, Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), home automation, and lighting systems.

Compensation: $25-$40 per hour, depending on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Projected Total Compensation: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
