The Quality Control Technician ensures all products meet established food safety, quality, and regulatory standards. This role supports production by performing inspections, documenting results, and communicating issues promptly to supervisors and the Quality Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Raw Material Inspection — Verify incoming raw materials meet specifications through visual checks and measurement tests; reject and return non‐compliant materials.
- In‐Process Quality Checks — Confirm production specifications, conduct visual and measurement tests, and communicate required adjustments to supervisors.
- Finished Product Approval — Inspect finished goods, verify specifications, document results, and return items for rework when needed.
- Quality Documentation — Complete reports, logs, rework summaries, waste records, and enter data into the quality database.
- Issue Troubleshooting — Partner with supervisors to resolve quality issues quickly to maintain production schedules.
- Safety & Compliance — Follow all GMPs, safety procedures, and legal regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Non‐Conformance Reporting — Record all non‐conformances during the shift and report findings to the Quality Manager.

Daily Workflow Expectations
- Conduct audits consistently throughout the shift.
- Check yeast box, water chiller, and holding freezers once per shift.
- Check spiral temperature after every three packing line audits.
- Perform four metal detection tests per line each shift.
- Box all retain samples (first half) and pan out bake test samples (second half) unless production is paused the following day.
- Record all non‐conformances and corrective actions immediately.
Schedule & Requirements
- Monday–Friday | 2:30 PM – 12:00 AM
- Flexibility required for production needs
- Must have reliable transportation
- Overtime available with approval
