We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to support production operations. The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery according to established procedures and safety guidelines
- Set up machines for daily production runs, including adjustments and changeovers
- Monitor machine performance and product quality during operation
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet company and customer specifications
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and report major problems to maintenance or supervisors
- Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance on machines
- Accurately complete production logs, reports, and documentation
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
- Follow all company policies, OSHA regulations, and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to read work orders, measurements, and basic technical instructions
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong teamwork, reliability, and time-management skills
Work Environment
- Manufacturing/warehouse setting
- Exposure to moving machinery, noise, and production equipment
- Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Schedules
2nd Shift: 3pm to 11:30pm
