This position is an on campus, in person full-time position. Under minimal supervision, the instructor is responsible for the delivery of course instruction in a variety of modalities and locations, facilitation of student learning and success, assessment of student performance, supervising students, and the on-going development of curriculum and learning strategies which meet the needs of students and employers. Additionally, collaborate with other faculty and staff members to provide quality instruction for a diverse student population; perform instructional duties and responsibilities in accordance with the philosophy, mission, policies and procedures of the College. The successful applicant will maintain requisite office hours; provide academic advisement to students; serve on college committees; attend meetings; participate in professional development activities; manage budget and labs and perform all instructional-related activities as directed within the policies, guidelines, and regulations of Northeast Community College.
Qualifications: Education: Minimum of a masters degree in accounting or a masters degree in a related field with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in accounting.
Qualification: Experience: Well-developed teaching skills, commitment to the comprehensive community college philosophy, and three or more years of professional accounting experience is required.

- Ability to prepare for and deliver instruction and perform teaching-related activities.
- Ability to plan, implement, and sponsor appropriate activities to supplement instruction based on institutional standards and sound instructional design principles.
- Ability to assist in selecting textbooks, develop/update curricula, complete reports, track/report assessment data, and contribute to program review/strategic planning. Maintain records and files (i.e., grades, assessments, program review, annual update materials, department reports, etc.) and perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Dean and the Vice President of Educational Services relating to the best interest of the program and student success.
- Ability to evaluate, record, and report attendance. Assess student performance and advise students on academic issues/careers in field.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective professional relationships with staff, students, faculty and other stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse ethnic, racial, socioeconomic, gender, and disabilities populations.
- Ability to serve as a resource and liaison to part-time faculty as needed.
- Possess proficient computer skills and familiarity with technology and software used to enhance instruction
