Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, transmissions, and related truck and trailer components
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake jobs, and inspections
- Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment for accurate assessments
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Follow safety procedures and industry best practices
- Previous diesel mechanic experience preferred, but not required
- Certifications (such as ASE, CDL, or manufacturer training) preferred, but not required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift heavy parts and equipment as needed
- Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
