MIG Welder - Detroit
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a MIG Welder to work with a leading manufacturing company in Detroit. This role focuses on welding racks and various metal components while maintaining high production and quality standards.
Shift Patterns
- 1st Shift: 6:00am to 2:30pm (Monday-Friday)
- 2nd Shift: 2:30pm to 11:00pm (Monday-Friday)
Pay Rates
- 20.00 USD hourly
Essential Requirements for MIG Welder
- Ability to perform consistent, structurally sound MIG welds on mild steel and similar metals.
- Ability to read work instructions and follow fabrication requirements and production guidelines accurately.
- Must have own PPE, including a welding helmet and gloves.
Desirable Requirements for MIG Welder
- Experience with production welding.
- Strong fabrication skills.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading.
Role for MIG Welder
- Perform MIG welding on racks, frames, and other metal materials.
- Inspect welded parts for accuracy, quality, and proper weld penetration.
- Use measuring tools such as tape measures, gauges, and calipers.
- Maintain welding equipment and ensure a clean, safe work area.
