Forklift operator - Fort Worth
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Forklift operator to work with Shipbob in Fort Worth. We are looking for a versatile equipment specialist to join a dynamic warehouse logistics team, serving as the backbone of inventory movement using a diverse fleet of specialized stand-up equipment.
Shift patterns
- Sunday to Wednesday 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Pay rates
- 18.75 USD hourly
Essential requirements for Forklift operator
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating Raymond forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and electric pallet jacks
- Proven experience in a warehouse setting with knowledge of shipping and receiving processes
- Familiarity with order picking procedures and inventory management systems
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
- Must provide valid forklift certification during the walkthrough

- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in material handling
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and supervisors

Role for Forklift operator
- Safely maneuver reach trucks through narrow aisles to stage and retrieve palletized loads from high-bay racking
- Efficiently load and unload inbound and outbound freight directly from trailers
- Operate cherry pickers at elevated heights to fulfill orders accurately while utilizing safety harnesses
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory movements and maintain data accuracy
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
