Digital Large Format Printer Operator - Madison Heights
Intro
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Digital Large Format Printer Operator to work with Design Fabrication Skilled in Madison Heights. This role involves operating and maintaining large-format digital printers in a production environment, ensuring consistent, high-quality output on various substrates.
Shift Patterns
- Monday-Thursday 2:30pm-1:00am and Friday 2:30pm-8:30pm as required.
- Overtime is required during busy months.
- Training period: Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm.
Pay Rates
- 18.50 - 22.00 USD hourly
Essential Requirements for Digital Large Format Printer Operator
- Prior experience operating a large-format digital printer.
- Familiarity with general computer operations in a production environment.
- Experience with Fiery Software.
- Ability to operate EGrand or other large-format industrial UV digital printers.
- Experience with Vutek 3250LX or Vutek 3250LX3 printers, including direct-to-board printing up to 120 inches wide.
- Experience with Epson resin printers, specifically roll-to-roll models.
Desirable Requirements for Digital Large Format Printer Operator
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic machine issues.
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs regularly.
- Commitment to shop safety practices and maintaining a clean work area.
Role for Digital Large Format Printer Operator
- Operate one or more large-format printers to meet production quotas.
- Perform general production runs on multiple substrates, including samples.
- Maintain printer operability, including warm-up, shut-down, ink levels, and filter changes.
- Coordinate job scheduling with the Graphics Department.
- Arrange and organize printing materials to support efficient production.
