**Hourly Rate: $19.00 - $21.00**
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- The Personnel Assistant is responsible for performing a variety of clerical and administrative duties relating to personnel, benefits, compensation, and employee relations activities.
- The Personnel Assistant maintains up-to-date and organized HR files, e.g., confidential, personnel, medical, training, I-9, driver's license, and insurance paperwork.
- Assists with processing paperwork for new hires and terminations, including retirement report and forms when applicable.
- Assists with advertising all open positions available on-center with Job Bid Program and off-center resources.
- Assists with conducting benefits enrollment and orientation for new employees and informing new employees of available insurance benefits, procedures, etc.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Two (2) years' related experience in Human Resources preferred.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record preferred.
- Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.
