Sales & Project Coordinator — Jo-Vin | New York City
Jo-Vin is a custom window treatment and upholstery workroom serving designers, hotels, property managers, and homeowners across New York City. We handle the full scope — measurements, fabrication, and installation, with a level of craft and turnaround that larger competitors can't match from right here in the city.
We're looking for someone who can walk into a room, understand what a client needs, earn their trust — and then see the project through without anything falling through the cracks. This isn't a pure sales job or a pure coordination job. It's both.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Conduct client consultations — in-home, onsite, and across all five boroughs
- Take precise measurements and gather detailed job specifications
- Organize all specs for estimating and obtain vendor quotes aligned to spec
- Present proposals and follow up consistently to close jobs
- Manage client communication from sale through final approval
- Develop your own business pipeline — targeting hotels, designers, and property managers
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You've sold before — ideally in window treatments, interiors, upholstery, or a related trade — and you know what it takes to move a high-ticket project across the finish line. You follow up when others stop. You stay organized when a job gets complicated.
- Experience in window treatments, interiors, upholstery, or construction-related sales
- Comfortable with high-ticket sales — projects range from $2,000 to $75,000
- Self-starter willing and able to generate your own business
- Exceptional follow-up discipline — this is non-negotiable
- Comfortable on the road across NYC regularly
COMPENSATION
Base commission. OTE $70,000 to $100,000 depending on performance. Higher commission rates apply to self-generated business — the more you build your own pipeline, the more you earn.
LEAD SUPPORT
You won't be starting from zero. Jo-Vin has invested in an active lead generation program targeting interior designers, hospitality buyers, and property managers across the metro area. You'll have access to a pipeline of warm and outreach-ready prospects from day one — managed through HubSpot — so you can focus on conversations and closings, not cold list-building from scratch.
