We're seeking a dependable and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our project management and operations teams.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Managers with job processing from initial intake through production and installation
- Write up detailed work tickets and production forms to initiate manufacturing
- Assist in the shipping and receiving department, including checking in fabric, hardware, and other materials
- Prepare outgoing shipments and maintain organized inventory tracking
- Learn industry-specific terms (e.g., drapery styles, fabric types) to effectively communicate with clients and vendors
- Coordinate internal documentation and help maintain accurate project files
- Follow up on purchase orders, deliveries, and missing items
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work well with others in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Must be reliable and punctual β attendance and timeliness are essential
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist with physical materials as needed
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting with changing priorities
- Basic computer skills (email, Microsoft Office, PDF tools, etc.)
- Willingness to learn industry terminology and internal systems
