Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements as a Host/Hostess when needed, ensuring a smooth flow of service from the moment guests arrive.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms.
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment with precision.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, demonstrating cocktail experience and beverage service expertise.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales through effective suggestive selling techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols.
• Support food preparation and kitchen staff when necessary to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy periods.
• Assist with food handling and sanitation procedures to uphold health regulations and ensure guest safety.
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions about menu items, accommodating special requests, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate with team members to create a lively atmosphere suitable for various settings including fine dining or nightclub environments.

Experience

• Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments is highly preferred; experience in fine dining or nightclubs is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in processing orders and transactions.
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques is desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service standards.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and creating memorable experiences.
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations ensures compliance with health standards.
• Knowledge of the food industry trends and restaurant operations helps deliver exceptional service in diverse environments such as casual or fine dining establishments.
