Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate
- Assist with menu planning and ingredient prep to support daily kitchen operations
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures rigorously to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, and knives with skill and safety awareness
- Support high-volume food production while adhering to recipe specifications and presentation standards
- Handle food safely during all stages of preparation, cooking, and storage
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service and uphold the restaurant’s culinary standards
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant settings, particularly with grilling or food preparation roles
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures
- Strong knife skills and proficiency operating various kitchen equipment
- Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation techniques such as braising, poaching, and food handling
- Background in culinary arts or related training preferred; dietary aide or dietary department experience is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in high-volume production environments while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
