What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Research Associate position at JNP Industries?
JNP Industries is a behavioral analytics and human factors research firm. We are staffing a regional workforce and education study in southern Maine.
What you would do:
- Run in-person sessions on the campus and in the community
- Conduct employer interviews and site visits across the region
- Handle local outreach, scheduling, and follow-up with employers and partners
- Document what you hear and feed it into the analysis
Who fits:
- Based in southern Maine or able to be there regularly
- Comfortable talking to employers, students, and college staff
- Organized and reliable with follow-up
- Background in workforce development, community college, or applied research is a plus
Graduates and undergraduates are encouraged to apply. Public policy, psychology, education, sociology, business, and related programs at USM, UNE, UMaine, or anywhere in the region: this is real field research on a live regional project, with a named role and a published research firm behind you. It fits alongside a course load.
Terms: Independent contractor. Start in late October.
