Duties
- Safely operate a CDL A tractor-trailer's dry van across designated routes.
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery schedules while complying with DOT (Department of Transportation) and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety standards are met; report any mechanical issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record; experience operating manual transmission trucks preferred.
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driver roles.
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols for transporting dangerous goods.
Pay: $1,400.00 - $2,400.00 per week
