Job Summary
We’re seeking a Customs Brokerage Entry Writer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing and submitting accurate customs entries for imported goods, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file customs entries (ACE) for air, ocean, and ground shipments
- Classify goods using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and ensure proper valuation
- Review commercial documents (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading) for completeness and accuracy
- Communicate with clients, carriers, and government agencies to resolve entry issues
- Monitor release status and proactively address delays or holds
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, PGA requirements (FDA, USDA, EPA, etc.), and trade compliance updates
