The Warehouse Manager oversees all day-to-day operations within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and safety throughout the entire fulfillment process. This role is responsible for supervising warehouse staff, managing inventory, coordinating driver routes, and maintaining accurate records through the company’s ERP system. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of leading a fast-paced team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Team Oversight: Supervise packers, pallet builders, and warehouse staff to ensure all outgoing orders are packed accurately and efficiently.
- Quality Control: Check and verify the accuracy of packed orders and pallet builds before dispatch.
- Scheduling & Logistics: Schedule drivers, assign delivery routes, and ensure timely and efficient dispatch operations.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, track merchandise movement, and update item records in the ERP system for real-time accuracy.
- ERP Coordination: Work closely with the ERP system to manage warehouse organization, item tracking, and order fulfillment processes.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain cleanliness, safety, and orderliness of the warehouse before, during, and after dispatch.
- Assembly Management: Oversee and participate in the assembly and preparation of products as required for customer orders.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety protocols, conduct routine inspections, ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards, and promote a culture of safe warehouse practices.
- Experience in food warehouse environment. (3 years preferred).
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one preferred.
- Full-time, on-site position in a refrigerated and dry goods warehouse environment.
- Requires standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and movement throughout the facility.
- Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, early morning to afternoon dispatch operations.
