JNA Builds, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Specialist to join our team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about construction and remodeling. Particularly about the details.
The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience in residential construction and can take a project from layout and framing through finish work, while coordinating with subcontractors and maintaining quality standards.
This role is ideal for someone who understands plans, sequencing, and problem solving on-site.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret architectural and structural plans
- Lead construction of ADUs and residential remodel projects
- Perform and oversee work including:
- Layout
- Framing
- Shear walls
- Exterior work
- Interior finishes
- Coordinate with subcontractors (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.)
- Ensure work meets code and inspection requirements
- Maintain jobsite organization and safety
- Communicate with the contractor/project manager regarding progress
Requirements
- 5 years residential construction experience
- Strong carpentry and framing skills
- Ability to read and follow construction plans
- Experience with ADU builds or ground-up residential construction preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and lead small crews when needed
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Los Angeles County building requirements
- Experience coordinating inspections
- Ability to manage job sequencing and materials
