Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and bussing tables.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel to coordinate service.
- Participate in banquet preparation and execution as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, including cooking, food preparation, and sanitation practices.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented atmosphere.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques.
- Culinary experience or training is a plus but not required.
