While JMorton provides full-service planning, this position is landscape-architecture focused, with planning serving as a complementary component.
Position Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture
- Previous internship experience in the LA profession is desirable
Technical & Professional Skills
- Strong skills in AutoCAD
- Familiarity with Land F/X
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, with the ability to quickly adjust graphics and visuals
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Excel; basic table handling and data accuracy required
- Working knowledge of Florida-native and Florida-friendly plant materials
- Experience producing 2D and 3D visualizations
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation accuracy
- Strong communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and design-thinking abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong time-management skills
Physical & Work Requirements
- Position is in-office
- Candidate must be willing to attend site visits as needed, which may require walking on uneven or undeveloped surfaces
- Per company policy, the use of personal devices during work shifts should be kept to a minimum
