Position: Warehouse Associate
Location: Palmetto, FL 34221
Employment Type: Full-Time (Temporary to Permanent)
Pay: $17.00/hour
Schedule: 2:30pm-11pm. | Training: 7 am-3:30pm (4 weeks)
Pay Increase Upon Permanent Hire: $18.00–$19.00/hour
Requirements
Background & Screening: Clean background required; in-person drug test required
Lifestyle: Non-smoker (smoking not permitted on site)
Age & Education: 18 years old; High school diploma/GED or equivalent
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push carts up to 60 lbs, stand/walk/bend frequently, climb stairs, and work at heights up to 40 ft
Transportation: Reliable transportation required
Schedule
Days: Monday – Friday (primary schedule)
Additional: Overtime as needed; occasional weekends
Job Responsibilities
Receive and inspect inbound materials; verify against purchase orders
Label, organize, and store materials; move materials within warehouse
Pick, kit, stage, wrap, weigh, and load outbound shipments
Assist with inventory control (cycle counts, transfers)
Safely operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, stackers, scissor lifts – training provided)
Use handheld scanners/tablets for tracking
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications
Prior warehouse experience and forklift certification preferred
Basic computer skills (email, warehouse systems)
Ability to read part numbers and perform basic math
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliable attendance
Turret Truck Experience Preferred
Dress Code / PPE
Long pants (jeans or khakis)
T-shirts or polos (no offensive graphics)
Closed-toe shoes required
Safety vest provided
