What are the responsibilities and job description for the Principal Engineer – Mechanical Drives position at JMI Recruiting Services, LLC?
We are currently assisting our client, an industrial manufacturer, with a Principal Engineering search in the Solon, OH area.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of design and application engineers dedicated to the development and technical support of mechanical drive systems.
- Dedicate approximately 20% of your time to hands-on work utilizing SolidWorks for mechanical design and development.
- Provide technical assistance to customers and ensure effective communication with international counterparts.
- Take the lead on specialized engineering projects, which may include designing test fixtures and various parts or assemblies.
Requirements:
- Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD software.
- Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude, showcasing strong problem-solving skills and hands-on mechanical abilities.
- Experienced in mechanical drives
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
